One way our students honor our school’s patron saint is by holding a pilgrimage around his feast day in September. This is St. Christopher School’s 55th year. To help celebrate, our students make a pilgrimage around our campus. Their pilgrimage makes several stops along the way.
One of the highlights of our campus are the beautiful, hand painted murals and religious statues. The students stop along the way to learn about these key Catholic icons and spend some time in prayer. The pilgrimage ends in front of the St. Christopher statue outside of the parish office.
Our students find this experience not only very spiritual, but also very informative. Learning the lives of the saints helps to give our students a concrete example of how to live a life dedicated to our Lord and what it means to be a Christ bearer.
