    The vision of Bishop Gorman High School is to be a national leader in college preparatory education in an environment distinguished by Catholic values. Our mission is to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prepare students for higher education and create a community where service is valued and celebrated-has imparted to our youth and community a treasured educational and spiritual foundation that is timeless.

    Programs

    Academic

    As a college preparatory school, Bishop Gorman has a 98% college bound rate. The Class of 2019 boasts one Presidential Scholar, five National Merit Scholarship Finalists, two National Merit Scholarship Commended Students, seven National Hispanic Scholars, and was awarded $31 million in scholarships. Bishop Gorman operates on a modified block schedule with block days on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our college preparatory curriculum offers three tracks to meet your academic needs, College Prep, Honors and Scholars. Bishop Gorman High School was founded on the 7th of September, 1954.

    Athletics

    Bishop Gorman is the home of Gaels and has a rich tradition of athletic excellence with over 100 State Championships in our 60+ year history. The Class of 2019 also had 40 seniors receiving athletic scholarships to play at the college level.

    Fine and Performing Arts

    A variety of fine art classes are offered through our curriculum including ceramics, drawing, digital photography, guitar, orchestra, theatre, dance and much more.  The Bishop Gorman thespians have been Theatre State Champions 7 years in a row and have won three national titles.  There are many opportunities throughout the year to see our art students showcase their talents.
